A short film for the Ventura County Farm Bureau with the goal to “put a face on the farmworker.”

Three high school students return to Cameroon after three years at a private high school in the US. Together with school staff they work to renovate the orphanage one of them called home, and take part in the basketball camp that was their ticket to the US.

Award-winning documentary introducing veterans who’ve returned from Iraq and Afghanistan and taken up organic farming to heal from their trauma and create safe local food supplies for their communities. Made for the Farmer-Veteran Coalition, an organization that now helps support hundreds of veteran farmers.

Directed by award-winning director Bill Couterié, this is the pitch reel that set up HBO’s three part series.
